Midwinter Regatta

Southern California Yachting Association and Coronado Yacht Club are including Challenged Sailors San Diego again in their 2018 Midwinter Regatta, to be held on Saturday Feb.10th and Sunday Feb.11th.  Our sailors will participate in a series of short races on Glorietta Bay, and awards will be presented after races are completed on Sunday.  The registration fee for the regatta is $37. We hope to have all sailors sign up by Thursday Feb. 1 if possible, so we can start planning for the number of volunteers and boats needed.  If you are interested in racing or volunteering in the Midwinter Regatta, please contact Sue at scheduler@challengedsailors.org.

PVA Sailing Clinics

Through the summer, Challenged Sailors San Diego held a series of sailing clinics in conjunction with Paralyzed Veterans of America, Cal-Diego Chapter. Our volunteers always enjoy and appreciate the opportunity to sail with these vets. Thank you, PVA, for your kind note.

A donation of $100 will enable someone with a disability such as Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal Cord Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, amputation, Traumatic Brain Injury, visual impairment, hearing impairment, Cerebral Palsy, or ALS to enjoy an afternoon sailing on San Diego Bay.
